Caring Teachers at Duir Nursery School

November 27, 2013

A card from grateful parents expressed the care that “Miss Laurie” and “Miss Stephanie” give their friends at Duir Nursery School in Port Hope, Ontario. They write, “… that we could not have chosen a more caring place for our children to start their education. Over the years our girls have been in your care, you have consistently gone above and beyond our expectations – from your flexibility with our changing schedules to the time and effort that goes into creating our Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas presents from our girls. They knew that Duir School was someplace fun where they were cared for and loved. Thank you does not begin to express the depth of our gratitude.”

Recent Comment by a Parent

December 21, 2010

Recently one of our parents commented the following about our program and how our school has impacted her son and family “It is hard to express in words what a wonderful feeling it is as a parent to have your child feel comfortable and confident in their surroundings. To have all of their needs met in a kind, loving and supportive environment. I have yet to find a resource in our community (Northumberland County) that is able to provide quality care that can be found at DUIR SCHOOL. Their love of children definitely shines brightly through. As does the skill and knowledge. My family has been truly blessed to receive their services. My Only regret would be not finding DUIR SCHOOL Sooner. “

It is our belief at Duir School that children of all abilities should be encouraged to meet their individual potentials in a fun, caring and supportive environment. To that end we create individualized goals and programs for each child and incorporate them into the overall programs so that we at Duir School are able to meet each child where they are at and support them in meeting the next developmental milestone.
